The National Payroll Institute hosts an annual national conference combining professional development, networking, and a tradeshow experience for payroll professionals across Canada.
Global supported the Institute’s 2024 National Conference at the Halifax Convention Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In 2025, the conference moved to Calgary, Alberta, taking place at the newly opened BMO Centre at Stampede Park. With an established partnership at the venue, Global had the opportunity to build on the success of the 2024 edition.
The Brief
For the 2025 edition, the objective was clear: create a strong, cohesive branded presence throughout the venue while seamlessly integrating multiple sponsor branding elements sold by the event organizer.
With a tight turnaround between events and a newly opened venue offering branding opportunities that had not yet been fully utilized, the project required precision, adaptability, and close coordination across teams.

Our Approach
The Global team in Calgary focused on early planning and clear communication to keep the project moving smoothly. Event branding layouts, sponsorship assets, and placement plans were carefully reviewed and approved in advance, allowing the on-site team to execute efficiently despite the tight timelines.
Global worked closely with the BMO Centre team and event partners to adapt branding plans to the unique architecture of the new facility.
Internally, the project also marked one of the first major events led by a new Branding Coordinator, supported by strong collaboration across the Calgary team.

The Result
The client’s branding was integrated throughout the BMO Centre in a way that enhanced visibility, supported wayfinding, and created a cohesive experience for attendees. The event featured over 200 branded elements, including floor and wall decals, hanging signs, escalator wraps, table-top graphics, and custom sponsor branding, all installed accurately and on schedule, even in newly utilized areas of the venue.
The event was delivered successfully under tight timelines, and the client was pleased with the outcome.
