Michael Klemm, CEM

Mike has spent more than two decades in the events and tradeshow industry, working with venues, exhibitors, and event organizers across Canada. Before joining Global in 2021, he led sales and account teams in Western Canada and worked closely with major venues and clients to support events of every size and scope. That experience built a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver a great event—from the first sales call to the final move-out.
At Global, Mike leads our national sales efforts with a collaborative, relationship-focused approach. He works directly with clients, partners, and venues—including the Halifax Convention Centre and event teams across the country—to support events from planning through execution.
Mike is also active in the wider industry as a member of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) Faculty Commission, where he teaches CEM courses and supports professional development of event professionals.
